Systemic insecticide for the control of insect pests on rice, crucifers, cucurbits, onions, garlic, white potato, and mango.

COMPOSITION:

Cartap Hydrochloride……………………500 g/kg

Inerts/Carriers……………………………500 g/kg

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Mix the recommended rate of TOP RANK 50 SP in a separate container and stir thoroughly to form a homogenous suspension. Transfer to the spray tank which is filled of water with agitation. Then fill the tank with enough water and continue agitation.

REQUENCY AND METHOD OF APPLICATION: Apply as a high-volume spray as soon as symptoms of infestation appear pest population persists or as the need arises provided that the last application is done 10 days before harvest.

PRE-HARVEST INTERVAL: Spraying shall be stopped 10 days before harvest.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD: Do not enter the field within 2 days after spraying.

COMPATIBILITY: TOP RANK 50 SP is compatible with commonly used pesticide except those with alkaline materials.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in original container tightly closed and away from feeds and other foodstuffs. Keep in cool dry place. Do not re-use empty containers. Dispose of empty container by destroying or burying in deep ground pits. Avoid contamination of any water supply with the chemical or empty containers.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF POISONING:

WITHOUT ALCOHOL INGESTION

Itching, redness, dermatitis, shortness of breath, coughing, nausea, vomiting, ataxia, muscle weakness and paralysis. WITH ALCOHOL INGESTION

Flushing, sweating, shortness of breath, chest pain and hypotension.

FIRST AID:

If ingested: Induce vomiting or lavage with activated charcoal (100g/200mL water as slurry). Follow with cathartic 25g sodium sulfate in 100 mL water. If inhaled: Remove patient from contaminated area and bring to fresh air. If on skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected areas with plain soap and water. If on eyes: Flush eye with clean running water for at least 15 minutes. In all cases: Get medical attention immediately.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Supportive Therapy: In case of severe poisoning, there should be IV infusion of glucose and maintenance of fluid and electrolyte balance. In case of accidental ingestion, inject intravenously 100-200 mg of L-cysteine or IM of 20-60 mg of BA (dimercaprol or 2-3 dimercaptopropanol). Apply steroids against dermatitis.
