GENERAL INFORMATION: SEVIN WP 85 brand carbaryl insecticide is highly effective for the control of a broad range of insect pests attacking field crops, fruit trees, vegetables, garden, house, and poultry.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: SEVIN WP 85 is recommended to control insect pests on the following crops:

Mix the product in a liter of water. Put eater into the sprayer to half the capacity. Pour the pre-mixed product and add water to full capacity while continuously agitating the sprayer. Apply as high volume spray making sure the crop foliage is fully covered. Spray when insects appear and repeat at 7-10 days interval.

POULTRY - Chicken, duck and pigeon - mites, lice and fleas. Use 80-160 grams SEVIN WP 85 per 16 liters of water. Do not spray on house birds or treat areas within 7 days of slaughter. Do not repeat application within 4 weeks. In premises - use 1/2-kilogram SEVIN WP 85 per 100 liters of water and spray 4 1/2 to 9 liters of solution per 100 sq.m. Spray on floors, roofs and interior surfaces. Do not spray directly on eggs and nests. Do not contaminate feeds or drinking water.

PETS - Dogs and Cats - flea and tick. Prepare a 5% SEVIN dust by mixing 10 grams SEVIN WP 85 with 155 grams of ordinary flour. Dust or rub the mixture on the skin and in sleeping areas weekly. Do not treat kittens under 4 weeks old.

COMPATIBILITY: Do not mix SEVIN WP 85 with highly alkaline compounds.

PRE-HARVEST INTERVAL: Do not spray within 14 days before harvest on rice, 5 days on citrus and 1 day on cacao, coffee, and mango.

RE-ENTRY: Treated areas may be re-entered immediately after spray has dried on foliage.

STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place away from foods and feedstuffs and reach of children.

CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Completely empty the contents and bury the unused chemical and container at least 45 centimeters deep in an isolated location away from water sources.

WARNING: This product may be harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin.

PRECAUTIONS: This product is a poison. When working with or preparing the product, avoid skin contact and inhalation of spray mist or dust. Wear a respirator, gloves, and long-sleeved clothing especially when handling the concentrate. If contamination occurs, flush eyes with plenty of water. After use, wash hands and face thoroughly. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Do not eat or smoke while using the product. Do not spray against the wind.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF POISONING: Signs and symptoms of acute poisoning include excessive sweating, tearing of eyes, salivation, headache, giddiness. blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, chest tightness and discomfort and constricted pupils. In severe poisoning, muscle twitching, inability to walk, coma and respiratory arrest may occur.

FIRST AID TREATMENT:

If swallowed, give 1-2 glasses of water, and induce vomiting by tickling the back of the throat with a finger or a blunt instrument. Repeat this procedure until vomit fluid is clear in appearance. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. Get medical attention immediately.

In cases of skin contact, remove contaminated clothing and wash affected areas with plain soap and water. Get medical attention as soon as possible if symptoms are occurring.

In cases of splashes in the eye, flush eyes with clean running water for at least 15 minutes.

If inhaled, remove from contaminated area, and bring patient to fresh air. If breathing is shallow or has ceased, apply artificial respiration. Get medical attention as soon as possible.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Carbaryl is a cholinesterase inhibitor. If swallowed, do careful gastric lavage. Treat wit atropine sulfate as antidote. Maintain patent airway and fluid and electrolyte balance. Never give opiates, phenothiazines, xanthines (aminophylline, caffeine, etc.) and other respiratory depressants.
