DAPTON® 16 WSG is a systemic, broad spectrum and highly active neonicotinoid, insecticide with fast contact and stomach against sucking and chewing insects. It binds with the acetycholine receptor of the nerve membrane and acts as against thereby inducing irregular stimula in the nervous system.

*For best results, use spray volume of 160 to 320L water/ha in rice. In mango, spray to the point of run-off.

FREQUENCY AND METHOD OF APPLICATION: Commence foliar spray at recommended rate 15 to 25 days after transplanting or when signs of infestation become apparent. In mango, spray a maximum of two applications from 10-70 days after flower inducer application, DAFIA. Avoid spraying mango trees during "full-bloom" stage as the product can be toxic to pollinating bees. When necessary, repeat spraying at 15 to 25 days interval.

COMPATIBILITY: DANTOP 16WSG is compatible with commonly use non-alkaline pesticides.

PRE-HARVEST INTERVAL: Eggplant (3 days), Rice (28 days) and mango (10 days) before harvest.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD: Enter treated fields only after spray deposits have dried.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Keep containers closed when not in use. Do not store near food or feedstuff. In case of spill, cover spilled material with sand, earth, or synthetic absorbent. Insecticide waste and used containers should be triple rinsed, crushed and disposed of in sanitary landfill. Do not re-use container.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF POISONING: No case of human poisoning is on record. In animal tests, decreased spontaneous movement, tremor, ataxia, semi-closed eyes, hunched body posture and lethargy have been observed.

FIRST AID: If inhaled: remove patient from exposure. keep warm and give rest. If swallowed: induce vomiting immediately by giving large quantity of water and by sticking finger down the throat. If skin is contacted: remove all contaminated clothing at once. Immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of water. If eyes are splashed: immediately flush eyes with large amounts of running water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician or seek medical advice.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Therapy: Symptomatic (nicotine-like effects): check blood pressure and pulse rate frequently since bradycardia and hypotonia are possible. Provide supportive measures for the respiratory function and cardiac action. Give artificial respiration if signs of paralysis appear.
