GENERAL INFORMATION: Ascend 50 SC is a pyrazole contact/stomach insecticide with good residual activity, which provides excellent control against diamond-backed moth (DBM) in cabbage, stemborer, leaf folder, brown planthopper, and rice bug in rice, thrips, and leaf beetle in watermelon; thrips and cutworm in onion; and fruit borer and thrips in eggplants. It acts specifically in immobilizing the GABA-gated chloride channel of the insect's nervous system.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

APPLICATION METOD/FREQUENCY: Add the recommended dose rate of Ascend® 50 SC to a half-filled spray tank of clean water; top up with water and mix thoroughly before use. For rice, apply before the flag leaf sheath open or spray before BBSCH 49. Use no more than 2 applications per season.

COMPATIBILITY: Do not apply in combination with other materials unless chemical and physical compatibility are known.

PRE-HARVEST INTERVAL: For rice, > 50 days; Other crops, 14 days

RE-ENTRY: One day after application.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in original container, tightly closed, away from food and feeds. Keep out of reach of children. Harmful to fish and other aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate waterbodies with this product. Triple rinse container and dispose contents/ empty container to hazardous or special waste collection point or in accordance with national or local regulations and requirements.

PROHIBITION / WARRANTY: It is a violation of FPA rules and regulations to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its label. No warranty of any kind, expressed or implied is made concerning the use on cl. User assumes all risk and liability resulting from handling, use or application.

PRECAUTIONS: Harmful if swallowed. Do not ear, drink, or smoke when using this product. Do not breathe mist. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Wear protective equipment including chemical resistant gloves, eye protection, apron, long-sleeved shirts, and pants when mixing and spraying. Harmful to aquatic life. Do not apply directly to water or to areas where surface water is present. Do not use near aquaculture areas, rivers, ponds, and other water bodies. Harmful to bees. Do not spray during flowering or when bees are actively foraging or near the crop. Beware of drift could affect bees in adjacent fields. Harmful to birds. Do not use near a bird protection area or nature reserve. Remove and wash thoroughly all protective equipment and working clothes before reuse. Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after handling and application.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF POISONING: Further symptoms and/or effects are not known.

FIRST AID TREATMENT:

Remove contaminated clothing.

If inhaled: Keep patient calm, remove to fresh air, seek medical attention.

On skin contact: Wash eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open.

On ingestion: Immediately rinse mouth and then drink 200-300 ml of water, seek medical attention.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Treatment according to symptoms (decontamination, vital functions), no known specific antidote.
