Sharpshooter 480 SL Herbicide (ALDIZ) 1 liter plastic bottle
₱450.00
Post-emergent general use herbicide for the control of annual grasses, sedges and broadleaves in corn, mango, banana, coffee, cacao, rubber, oil palm, citrus, coconut, sugarcane, and vegetables.
Sharpshooter provides control against perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges as well as annual weeds when applied via foliar spray. Sharpshooter enters the weeds by absorption through the leaf surface and is then translocated throughout the plant specifically to areas such as the roots and rhizomes. An application of Sharpshooter controls both the above and underground parts of emerged weeds. Sharpshooter is immediately inactivated when it comes in contact with soil. No residual soil activity is exhibited and it therefore does not control weeds that emerge from newly germinated seeds following its application.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Fill the spray tank with one half the required amount of water. Add the recommended amount of Sharpshooter and mix the spray solution well before filling the tank with remaining amount of water. When using knapsack sprayers, it is recommended to prepare the solution in a separate container and then transfer it into the spray tank. Low volume spraying of Sharpshooter during the early dry season at spray solution ranging from 200 to 400 Liters of water will provide excellent results. Sharpshooter will provide a seven-month weed control when uniformly sprayed on tall dense foliage of cogon grass or on shorter species such as mutha.
The addition of 1% crystalline ammonium sulfate to the spray solution may be done to increase the efficacy of Sharpshooter to control various weeds. To attain optimum weed control, spray the following solution to cover areas not hit by the product 30 days after initial treatment:
1.5-2.0 kg. of ammonium sulfate + 1 Liter of Sharpshooter + 200 Liters of water In scenarios wherein there are several types of weeds present:

GENERAL INFORMATION ON SHARPSHOOTER:
Optimum perennial weed control is achieved when applying the product during the later growth stage nearing seed head development or flowering. In most annual weeds observable effects occur 2 to 4 days after application while for perennial weeds. Visible effect may occur after 7 days. Observable effects are gradual yellowing and wilting of the weed, which continues until browning of the above ground portion. Deterioration of the underground portion of the weed then occurs.
Treating weeds located on wet low-lying soils may require touch-up or repeat applications to achieve optimum product performance. It is also advised to avoid the use containing soil particles from sources such as muddy ponds or unlined reservoirs to achieve best results.
