Selective pre-emergence herbicide for use in transplanted onions, transplanted rice, dry seeded rice, pre-germinated direct-seeded rice.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

MIXING: Fill sprayer with water to half capacity. Pour required quantity of RONSTAR EC 25, then fill sprayer to full capacity while stirring or agitating to mix thoroughly.

Direct Seeded Pre-germinated Rice – Apply RONSTAR EC 25 at 3-4 days after sowing when most rice seedlings are at needle-like stage. Ensure no standing water at the time of spraying. Ensure drainage by closing main source of irrigation and opening all water outlets. It is recommended to have 1-foot wide canalettes along he levees and 4-5 meters interval in the paddy. Spray uniformly over the area.

Transplanted Rice – Apply RONSTAR EC 25 4 days before or until 4 days after transplanting. The best timing of application for DAPOG seedlings (age: 18 days and above), spray at 0-2 days after transplanting. Spray uniformly over the area.

Dry-Seeded Rice – Broadcast dry rice seeds. Cover seeds lightly with soil. For rainfed areas, spray RONSTAR EC 25 immediately after reaching field capacity before the application.

Transplanted Onion – Apply RONSTAR EC 25 immediately before or after transplanting. Best results are obtained when sufficient soil moisture is present during application.

COMPATIBILITY: RONSTAR EC 25 is compatible with Phenoxy compounds, propanil and other herbicides.

RE-ENTRY: Re-entry can be done after the spray droplets have dried up. It is recommended to keep from disturbing the soil, even by trodding on the spayed soil surfaces to present “herbicide barrier” formed by the application of RONSTAR EC 25.

STORAGE: Flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame.

CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Triple rinse, puncture, and crush empty containers and dispose by burning 45 cm deep in an isolated location away from water sources.

PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Wear gloves, goggles, and protective clothing during mixing. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. After work bathe thoroughly.

FIRST AID TREATMENT:

If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Product contains aromatic hydrocarbon solvent which can cause pulmonary edema. If patient is conscious, give 1 glass of water. Get medical attention immediately.

If on skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected area with plain soap and water.

If in eyes: Flush eyes with running water. Get medical attention immediately.

If inhaled: Remove victim from area of exposure and bring to fresh air.
