NON-SELECTIVE HERBICIDE

GENERAL WEED KILLER

NO GRASS is a water-soluble herbicide applied as foliar spray. It provides complete control of perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges as well as annual weeds on registered crops. Its non-crops use includes reforestation areas, rice levees, draining ditches, irrigation canals, around fishponds, field boundaries, roadsides, fence rows, railroad yards and tracks, around building, golf courses, and memorial parks.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

NO GRASS 48 SL is a water-soluble and foliar applied herbicide. It is absorbed thru the leaf and stem surfaces of the water and travels down the stem toe the roots or rhizomes and circulates throughout the entire plant. One application can destroy the weed plant where there is gradual writing and yellowing until there is complete browning, deterioration death of the weed plant.

MIXING: Mix the recommended rate of NO GRASS 48 SL with one-half of the required amount of water in separate mixing tank while stirring thoroughly to make a uniform mixture. Transfer the mixture to a knapsack sprayer. Continue agitation to fill the knapsack sprayer with enough water to its full capacity.

APPLICATION PROACTICES FOR BETTER WEED CONTROL

1. Use NO GRASS 48 SL if you plan to do a minimum or reduced tillage for sugarcane, rice, corn, and other cereals, and vegetable crops. Blanket spray the field with NO GRASS 48 SL spray solution prior planting. For young or matured crop plants, do strip or spot spraying directed to the weeds or the surroundings of the plant. Do not spray directly to the crop plants. Direct the spray.

2. If after the initial treatment there is still spot weed growth, do a touch-up application within 30 days after the initial treatment. Enhance the efficacy of NO GRASS 48 SL by mixing 1 liter of NO GRASS 48 SL with 1.5 to 2 kilos of Ammonium Sulfate fertilizer in 200 liters of water per hectare. If the spot growth after the initial treatment is of various weeds, mix 2 liters NO GRASS 48 SL with Ammonium sulfate fertilizer in 200 liters of water per hectare. Spray evenly on weed growth.

3. For best results, apply at the rate of 200 – 400 liters of water per hectare when doing a Low Volume Spraying (LVS) early in the dry season.

4. Spraying uniformly on tall and dense foliage of agon or on shorter weed species such as mutha will provide a good weed control over a minimum period of 7 months.

5. Perennial weeds can be controlled if NO GRASS 48 SL spray solution is applied during late growth stage approaching seed head development or flowering of the perennial weed.

PRECAUTIONS: Store in original container, tightly closed, away from and feeds. When working with the product and inhalation or contact with the skin and eyes. Wear a respirator, gloves, and protective clothing when mixing or applying the product. Do not smoke or eat while mixing or spraying. This product is harmful if swallowed. After use, wash hands and face thoroughly with soap and water. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Burn or bury empty container. Avoid contamination of any water supply with chemical or the empty container.

SYMPTOMS OF POISONING: Due to low level of toxicity of NO GRASS 48 SL, no symptoms of poisoning from internal ingestion are known to exist.

FIRST AID MEASURES:

If swallowed: If patient is conscious, give 1-2 glasses of water and induce vomiting by tickling back of throat or pressing back of tongue with a finger or blunt instrument. Repeat the procedure until the vomit fluid is clear in appearance.

In case of skin contact: remove contaminated clothing and wash affected areas with plain soap and water.

In case of eye contamination: flush eyes immediately with running water for at least 15 minutes.

If inhaled: transfer the patient from the contaminated area to another area where he can breathe fresh air. If breathing stopped, apply artificial respiration.

In all of the above cases, get medical attention immediately.

NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Symptomatic and supportive treatment.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area away from open flame, heat, foodstuffs, feeds, and seeds. Do not reuse empty containers and instead bury them at least 45 cm deep in a location away from water sources.
